Welcome to another secret adventure! I needed a way to shift my mental focus from one perspective to another. I devised a simple plan: breathe in while thinking one word, and breathe out while thinking another word. 1. The word you breathe in is an invitation for your mind to create a new thought habit for your brain. You may want to say it out loud too! You are calling in a full body experience of each word as you breathe in. |
2. The word you breathe out is a type of recycling. You release a word to be recycled out of your mind, for it to return later. At that time, you can see it with fresh eyes, and have a clearer understanding of what it means for you.
The idea is to go slowly . . . pick one to think on as you breathe in & breath out for a few breaths. Do this several times a day. May this list be a jumping off point for you to write your own! |
