Welcome to my guide on healing your fears. I first experienced this process by following my intuition. Afterward, I felt so much lighter, and even happy! I immediately wrote down these steps for you to try yourself.
If you find that this process benefits you, then great! You can use this guide any time a fear comes up for you. If this didn't work for you (as with anything that doesn't work) — keep seeking & you'll find what you need eventually ♥

1. What does the concern or worry say? What are the words used in the phrase?
Take time to slow down and really hear what the fear, concern, worry has to say. If there is more than one phrase coming up in your mind, they are possibly related, so take those into account too.
For example: "How are we going to make money?" — "Can we make money by doing this, this & this?" — "Will I have enough money?"

2. What are you afraid of?
All of these phrases, thoughts, concerns, worries are in your mind because they are afraid of something. What is the thing that these thoughts are afraid of? What is the THEME of the thoughts?
For example: The theme of the thoughts from step 1 revolve around money, a fear of not having enough.

3. Now that you know WHAT you're afraid of, do you know WHERE you are afraid?
This is where being sensitive comes in handy. If you've ever wondered the benefits of having a sensitivity to emotions, feelings, etc. this is it. As you feel the fear itself, from the thoughts, search in your body where do you feel the fear coming from? It could feel like tension, tightness, constriction somewhere in your body. Locate it before we go to the next step.
For example: I could feel fears on the right side of my throat because that muscle felt tense and constricted.

4. See these fears as a part of you that needs your help.
I'm so glad you found the area of your body that feels the fear! This is a tiny part of YOU. You probably already know how when you feel hungry, and get a craving for something, that is the stomach sending you a signal it needs food. In the same way, the worried thoughts act as signals to your brain. The tense area in your body has been sending signals to you because it needs something. But what? If we dismiss those thought signals, this area of our body will continue to wait until you finally address it.

5. A fear denotes insecurity of some kind. It is now time to provide those fears with security.
When you feel insecure, that means we need to build the feeling of security. Your fears need you to sooth, calm, & bring security! Do you see how the fears are really just messages to your brain? It's no longer about the thoughts, it's about the feeling you feel.
The feeling of security will support you from the inside. Inner work is called that because we start on the inside, with the feelings, thoughts, beliefs. Then what you are cultivating within will easily show up on the outside. It's a natural effect of shifting how you feel and believe - you make choices that reflect these things.

6. The most important step: place your hands on the area of your body where you feel the fears.
Lean into your hands, & feel how it feels to be supported by them. This is a physical representation of the security that is needed. When a need for security arises, that security can feel distant and intangible. Feeling into the support of your hands is a way of showing the fearful part what a tangible security is like.

7. Tell your fearful part that you care about them.
As you are physically supporting your fears, this is the best time to bring in understanding and care. Either think or say out loud to your fears that you hear them, you see them, you understand them completely, & you feel them. As you do this, truly feel into each thing you say. You are pouring care into your fears. You are pouring love to this fearful place in you.

8. Stay in this moment as long as you can.
As you can feel the physical security support from your hands, and pouring love into the fearful part of you - each moment you do this assists in healing. Close your eyes, take your time. We honor the fear. Love then naturally dissolves the fear by reclaiming it unto itself.

9. Release your hands, open your eyes, and breathe.
With each breath your take, imagine the oxygen is going straight to that location in your body where you were holding. You can also imagine it as bright light filling the area. Continue breathing in and out until oxygen fills the area completely.

10. Following up
It may happen that this same fear arises again. You'll know when that happens because you'll have those same thoughts, concerns, worries. This part of you feels unsafe again, and needs to feel a physical sense of security. All it needs is a reminder. So place your hand on the same spot as before. Then remind this part of you that you are heard, seen, understood, cared for, and loved.
